Hostal Hera Barcelona

Great location near Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, and the beach. Friendly staff allowed me to store my luggage. Basic accommodation, but good value for money in the city. Convenient room service and clean shared bathrooms. a solid choice.

We loved the friendly staff and the warm welcome we received every time we returned to the hostel. The language barrier was no problem, as they were happy to communicate with us despite our limited Spanish. The old steps leading up to the hostel had a cool, authentic Barcelona vibe. The location was amazing, surrounded by cool bars in the El Born area. It was a nice break from busy hostels, with a peaceful atmosphere and no drunken disturbances. Plus, the price was great compared to other double rooms in the area.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, as it was fairly close to a metro station with quick access to the city center. it was really close to the beach, making it convenient for beachgoers like me. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff provided excellent service. They even recommended a nearby cafe where I could have a good quality breakfast.

The hotel is also well-connected with numerous bus stations and metro stations nearby, making it easy to explore the city.

Some guests mentioned that the plumbing system in the rooms could be quite noisy at night, which may affect the quality of sleep.
